This is true, and I know Nrchy was not trying to say this, but it does not always mean that the record is the gazillionth one produced from the master and of poorer quality. I have heard some folks equate the two and it is just wrong.

    I saw on the news the other night that some companies are reviving production of the LP, Vinyl isnt dead yet, but nit selling like it used to. Many predict that the LP will outlive the music CD as many stores are cutting back or even discontinuing CD sales, watch Wal Mart drop the CD altogether in the near future, although they do not sell LPs.
