Let it shine like the sun Let there be music Everybody's got to have some fun, yeah It's so hard to keep on smillin' When people try to make you frown But, we're all in this together So why run one another down You know we can't expect our problems To grow wings and fly away So fight the fight just as hard as you can When it's time for you to.

One side note: Reading the reviews for this CD, many people have compared the music of Orleans to that of other s bands such as Firefall, Ambrosia, Player, and even Poco. One fan went so far as to rate Orleans behind Ambrosia, but ahead of Poco and Firefall. I'd put it the other way around/5().

Orleans is an American pop rock band best known for its hits "Dance with Me" (No. 6 in ); "Still the One" (No. 5), from the album Waking and Dreaming (); and "Love Takes Time" (No. 11 in ).The group's name evolved from the music it was playing at the time of their formation, which was inspired by Louisiana artists such as Allen Toussaint and the Neville Brothers.

Of course the sweet and sentimental "Dance With Me" was the big single from the LP. The brilliant use of a melodica for the instrumental break gives the song a timeless quality. "Let There Be Music," which as a hard rock as Orleans got, bubbled under the top 40 with some FM play.
